Hostel facilities for Dalit students in Rajkot’s Gondal soon
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani during his visit to the Gondal on Wednesday announced the construction of a hostel for students of Dalit community in Gondal which will be built at cost of Rs. 5 corers.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani attended an event to commemorate the 50th death anniversary of Shri Ugaramdada in Bandra of Gondal and appealed the people to follow the path shown by this great spiritual leader. He paid a tribute to this divine being and wished success and prosperity to the people of the state. He said that the event has made him experience a sense of divine touch and calmed his inner being.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM announced that a hostel will be constructed at the cost of Rs. 5 crores and 40 lakhs for the students of Dalit community in Gondal.
MLA Govind Patel, MLA Lakhabhai Sagathiya, Rajkot Collector Rahul Gupta, and various other officials and spiritual leaders along with a large number of people were present on the occasion.
